Our focus for the 2023 / 2024 School Year is on reading skills. A bonus will be offered to the elementary school and the middle school with the highest increase in reading skills as compared to the prior school year and a bonus will be awarded to the high school that shows the highest increase in graduation rate over the past year. These bonuses are only available to the Title 1 Schools in our program.
At ORC Family Foundation, we started based off a partnership that developed between Catherine Muth and Jackie and Kim Ford over more than a decade. They realized that they have a shared vision and goals for programs that will enhance the potential of students and families within the Title 1 School communities.
- To enhance and expand educational programs by offering grants to Title 1 Schools in low-income communities.
- To introduce careers in the trades to a larger group of students and others within low-income communities.
